Our story begins in 2010, when this entire album was recorded in one weekend. We tried to "upload" it but the modem kept resetting. Every protocol was rewritten, repeatedly, but tested by nobody. Not even once. Then most of California burned down, as the wildfires raged during our "beans and cabbage" decade.

Meanwhile in Chaz's mountain lair, A.I. had advanced to the point where it could generate burp reverb indistinguishable from the real thing. Set loose on our bit-rotting archives, "DeepBurp" spent years remixing a haphazard melange of bwerpstep, herpwave, and "mountain water", to be shot directly into the nostalgia lobes of your brain.

Ill-tempered goats nearly ate the master on the way to the ritual volcanic sacrifice, but this steaming load has finally been pinched off.
